Universal File Requirement Checker – Validate and Resize Files Online

Check, validate and prepare your files before uploading them.

Your files are processed locally in your browser. AjazMD does not upload your selected files to a server through this tool. Always verify the requirements of the website where you intend to upload your files.

1. Select files

2. Your requirements

Allowed formats (none ticked = any supported)

Presets are editable examples only, not official government, visa or institution requirements.

3. Prepare images (optional)

Quality and target size apply to JPEG and WebP. PNG is lossless, so only resizing changes its size. GIF/BMP inputs are exported from the first frame as PNG, JPEG or WebP. Originals are never overwritten.

What Is a File Requirement Checker?

A file requirement checker compares your files with the rules an upload form asks for, such as maximum size, exact pixel dimensions, allowed formats or PDF page count. You enter the rules, add your files and see which ones pass before you submit anything.

Why File Requirements Matter

Application portals often reject files without a clear reason. Checking size, dimensions and format first saves time, especially when a deadline is close.

How to Check Image Size and Dimensions

Add an image and the tool shows its actual size in KB or MB and its width and height in pixels. Enter your maximum size or required dimensions and each check shows PASS, FAIL, or NOT CHECKED with a suggested fix.

How to Resize an Image to Exact Pixels

In the prepare section, choose "Match required width/height" or enter custom pixels. If the original has a different shape you can crop to fill from the center or stretch. Then process and download the new file. Compare the reported output dimensions with your requirement.

How to Check PDF File Size and Page Count

PDF size, extension and file signature are checked instantly. Page count loads a PDF reader library only when you add a PDF. If that library is blocked, the page check shows NOT CHECKED instead of guessing. Encrypted or damaged PDFs are reported as such.

How to Prepare Files for Online Applications

Start with the destination's stated rules, enter them here, resize or compress where needed, then re-check the downloaded output. Keep the originals unchanged in case you need another version.

Common File Upload Errors and Their Solutions

File too large: lower the quality or set a target size. Wrong dimensions: resize to exact pixels. Format not allowed: convert to JPEG, PNG or WebP. PDF too long: remove pages with a PDF editor.

Browser-Based File Processing and Privacy

Reading, validating and resizing happen inside your browser. Selected files are not sent to AjazMD through this tool. Only the optional PDF reader library is fetched from a CDN, and your PDF is not sent with that request.

Limitations of Online File Validation

Passing here does not guarantee the destination website will accept your file, because sites may add rules we cannot see. Compression can lower image quality, a target size is not always reachable, and animated GIFs lose animation when processed. Only common image formats and PDFs are supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a file requirement checker?

A tool that tests your files against rules such as size, dimensions, format and PDF page count.

How can I check an image's size in KB?

Add the image. Its actual size appears in the results, and a maximum size rule shows pass or fail.

How do I check image dimensions in pixels?

Add the image and read the width and height shown in its result card.

Can I resize an image to exact dimensions?

Yes. Choose Match required width/height or Custom pixels, then process and download.

Can I reduce an image to a maximum file size?

For JPEG and WebP the tool adjusts quality, and sometimes dimensions, toward your target. If it cannot reach it, it says so.

Can I check PDF file size and page count?

File size is always checked. Page count works when the PDF reader library loads, otherwise it shows NOT CHECKED.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Files are processed locally in your browser through this tool.

Can this tool guarantee that a website will accept my file?

No. Always confirm the requirements on the destination website.

Which file formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP images where your browser can decode them, plus PDF checks.

Why does an image become larger after conversion?

Lossless formats such as PNG can be larger than JPEG, and high quality settings or upscaling also increase size.

Can I check multiple files at once?

Yes. The same rules are applied to every selected file, and you can filter passed and failed files.

Does the tool work on mobile devices?

Yes, the layout adapts to phones and tablets, though very large images may be slow on older devices.
